“I started working with Teddy late last summer..I wasn’t happy with my body, my normal clothes didn’t fit..my health wasn’t great and i just couldn’t seem to stick to anything i set out for myself. I was trying some diets left and right consistently to no avail. There was 0 accountability and i wasn’t confident with what i was doing. I was doing classes, trying to eat right, but I didn’t feel I was where I wanted to be and couldn’t seem to get there. He showed me the real way of understanding my body, my caloric needs based on my activity and the other factors that influence weight and body composition. He set me on a path to feeding my body the right fuel while being able to enjoy the foods I love in moderation and still….we made solid progress. He customized my program and explained goals need to be in phases. We first started with eating at a maintenance and focusing on training while getting lots of food in and getting strong. Not only did i begin dropping bodyfat we are down over 35lbs. We actually built solid muscle as i contined to get stronger! Before him, i had some hard times, where the scale didn’t even move, when I constantly questioned if what I was doing was working at all… i can’t tell you what learning about my body, food relationships and habit building has done for me.
Fast forward 7 months….. I have lost 14% bodyfat and gained a great deal of muscle due to working my program in phases. I never thought I would be eating almost 2000 calories and focused on how strong I get….and here we are lifting, forming habits, eating and taking my goals phase by phase to get to a better body composition, weight, health and overall better place mentally and physically.
We are only getting started. My message to anyone out there struggling is this: Don’t wait and waste time not being where you wanna be in health or fitness. Take action. Get in the gym. Hire a coach or trainer if you need it. Your motivation to wanna be better and build self discipline won’t always be there. Flexible dieting is a game changer.
